A connection is a credential we hold for another system on your behalf. Each mapping on it moves values between one environment in your workspace and one target, in one direction.

Provider pages
Provider pages are generated from each provider's descriptor. Each lists the vendor, the stored key, whether values read back, activation, the console's connection and mapping fields (with Advanced marked), and the permissions probed on verify. A page marked planned describes a card our console shows and cannot yet connect.
The sidebar groups providers by vendor in catalog order. Where a newer provider replaces an older one, our console grid shows only the newer card and offers the older one beneath it.
